How to join

If you have a Finnish social security number and a permanent address in Finland but don’t have Finnish banking credentials, just book an appointment at our customer service point – we’ll help you become a co-op member.Please make sure you have sufficient English language skills or bring an interpreter with you. Also, remember to take the necessary identity documents, such as your passport. Please note that the booking page is available only in Finnish.

Can I join online?

You can join online if you have Finnish banking credentials, a Finnish social security number, and a permanent address in Finland. Please note: the form is only in Finnish.

Practical Advice for Co-op Members: 
  • You’ll receive the S-Etukortti card when you become a co-op member and pay the membership fee. 
  • The S-Etukortti is your key to cashback and other member benefits. 
  • Your cashback is automatically recorded when you present your S-Etukortti card at checkout. 
  • When you join, we’ll open a benefit payment account (S-Tili) for you at S-Bank. 
  • You can use the same card to earn cashback and pay for your purchases. 
  • You’ll earn an extra 0.5% cashback for everything paid with your S-Etukortti VISA at S Group outlets in Finland. 
  • Accrued cashback is paid into your S-Tili account by the 10th day of the month following your purchases. 
Keskimaa S-mobiili

Benefits stay with you in S-mobiili

S-mobiili is the co-op member’s most important app. It keeps you up to date on your cashback accrual, helps you find the nearest stores, and shows you the best available benefits. Each month, the app displays selection of member deals and highlights the most relevant ongoing campaigns. This year, as Keskimaa celebrates its 110th anniversary, new co-op members who join and download S-mobiili will receive  11 useful benefits – just for getting started.
