HOW TO JOIN

If you have a Finnish social security number and a permanent address in Finland but you don't have Finnish banking credentials, make an appointment at our customer service point and we will help you to join.


Please make sure that you have sufficient English language skills or be prepared to take an interpreter with you. Take also the necessary identity documents with you, e.g. passport.

If you have Finnish banking credentials, Finnish social security number and a permanent address in Finland, you can join online.

Practical advice for the co-op member:

 

  • You get the S-Etukortti card, when you become a member of the co-op and pay its membership fee.
  • The S-Etukortti card is the key to the cash back and other co-op member benefits.
  • Your cash back is automatically recorded when you present your S -Etukortti card at the checkout.
  • When you become a member, we will open a benefit payment account in the S Bank for you.
  • You can use the same card to both accrue cash back and pay for your purchases.
  • You earn a 0.5% payment-method related benefit on purchases belonging to the benefit sphere
    when you pay with your S-Etukortti card at S Group outlets in Finland.
  • The accrued cash back is paid into your S-Tili account by the tenth day of the month following your purchases.

The cash back is calculated on your monthly purchases.


Your monthly purchases must exceed 50 € in order for you to earn cash back.

The cash back percentage (1-5%) depends on the sum total of your monthly purchases.
