Break Sokos Hotel Himos


Rakennamme Himoksen Länsirinteiden juurelle huoneistohotellin – valmista on marraskuussa 2025.

Osuuskauppa Keskimaa on aloittanut Himoksella lomahuoneistojen rakennuttamisen toukokuussa 2024. Himoksen Länsirinteiden juurelle rakennetaan kolmen kiinteistön kokonaisuus, joihin tulee yhteensä 121 korkeatasoista huoneistoa sekä ravintola terasseineen. Huoneistoissa on kussakin 1–3 makuuhuonetta, tupakeittiö ja sauna. Vuodepaikkoja on yhteensä lähes 500. Hotelli avataan Suomen luotetuimman hotelliketjun, Sokos Hotels -brändin alle ja sen on määrä valmistua marraskuuhun 2025 mennessä.

Break Sokos Hotel Himos

Osuuskauppa Keskimaa has begun constructing holiday apartments in Himos in May 2024. A complex of three properties is being built at the foot of Himos’ West Slopes, comprising a total of 121 high-quality apartments and a restaurant with terraces. Each apartment will feature 1-3 bedrooms, a combined living room and kitchen, and a sauna. There will be nearly 500 beds in total. The hotel will open under Finland’s most trusted hotel chain, the Sokos Hotels brand, and is scheduled for completion by November 2025. 

- Himos is currently one of the most rapidly developing tourist areas, and this project is a natural continuation of our significant investments in Finland’s magnificent travel destinations, alongside Koli, Bomba, and Tahko, states Juha Helminen, SOK's Chain Director of Travel and Hospitality.

- Himos has been an area of interest for us for years, and now we have found a functional concept for it, carefully refined to meet the current and future needs of the area, rejoices Pasi Kunelius, Director of Accommodation and Restaurant Services at Osuuskauppa Keskimaa.

A restaurant with terraces is being constructed on the first floor of the building closest to the slope. The interior of the restaurant will accommodate 180 people, and it will include outdoor terraces. The properties will also feature storage and maintenance facilities for sports equipment, a laundry room, and an S-market Jämsä food delivery point for online orders.

Chalet-style holiday accommodation

In the designed holiday apartments, guests can enjoy high-quality and comfortable accommodation, along with the convenience of a ski-in ski-out model for easy access to skiing activities. The apartments feature a digital service concept, eliminating the need for a traditional hotel reception.

Parking spaces and electric vehicle charging

The parking area is planned to have ABC electric charging facilities for electric vehicles. Additionally, we have agreed to purchase the parking area in front of the buildings from Himos Ski & Golf Chalets Ltd for general parking.
